Meme Podcasts are now up and running!

We've now managed to harness the immense power of t'interweb to bring you our exclusive mixes using the black magic that is podcasting.

Here's what you have to do to subscribe to the podcast so that you get the new mixes delivered straight to your iTunes and iPod:

On a Mac:

Open iTunes

Select Advanced from the menu bar

Select 'Subscribe to Podcast...'

In the dialogue box, type or paste in the following link;

feed://www.mememagazine.com/content/MemePodcasts.xml

Click on 'OK'

iTunes will  now automatically download the most recent edition.

To download the previous mixes, find the MemePodcasts listing in iTunes, click on the little arrow (4) next to the podcast name and click on 'Get All'.

On a PC:

Apparently it's pretty much the same as on a mac (but probably with a few system crashes thrown in). Use the same link as above. There's a useful guide here.

For you simple folk or anyone without iTunes, you can always just point your browser, podcast-friendly music software or RSS feeder to:

With a couple of mighty Justice remixes, Hot Chip, Santogold, TEPR and the curious yet beguiling 'I Wish I Was A Polar Bear' from Ted & Francis, this is a mix that will keep you warm over the winter months. Cook for 33 minutes at Gas Mark 8.

MemeMix007 - Jacksonism

A bit of a departure with this MemeMix. We've given it a bit of a theme by collecting together our favourite Jackson 5 and Michael Jackson remixes and re-edits into one groovy half-hour package. There are plenty of surprises and some excellent tunes, even if you're not the world's biggest Michael Jackson fan.

MemeMix006 - fnuk
Funkier and punchier than any other mix around (probably), we have 30 minutes of pure concentrated funky music. No additives, no preservatives. Guaranteed to get your feet tapping, or your money back.

MemeMix005 - I'm Happy (Punch)
Definitely a mix for Spring, with over an hour of sun-drenched tracks oozing soul, funk and some classic pop. Some Meme surprises in there for you as well. Get out the sun-lounger, put on the headphones and be happy.

A bit of a departure on this mix with an excellent mix of nu-arve and electro punk, including The Gossip, Simian Mobile Disco, Justice and Hot Chip.
