SoundCloud Track of the Week 24.12.11
Every week we bring you our favourite tracks that we’ve discovered on Soundcloud.
This week is hardly a seasonal choice – Alkalino has re-edited ‘Sketch For Summer’ from The Durutti Column. The track was off their debut LP ‘The Return of the Durutti Column’, released in 1980 on Factory Records. Apart from being an iconic ‘post punk’ album from one of Manchester’s finest, the record also stood out by having a sandpaper sleeve.
